Our client loved their neighborhood and had no interest in leaving it behind - but their home was no longer meeting their needs. With limited options on the market, they chose a different path: to stay and thoughtfully transform the space they already had. What followed was a comprehensive renovation and expansion that turned a modest ranch into a larger, more functional home - one that better supports their lifestyle while still fitting seamlessly into the neighborhood they adored.

The scope of work included two first-floor additions, the construction of a full second-story addition, and a comprehensive renovation of the existing main level. The result is a cohesive, thoughtfully designed home that dramatically increases livable square footage while maintaining architectural harmony within the neighborhood context.

The first-floor expansion introduced a vaulted sunroom filled with natural light, featuring expansive windows and an electric fireplace that serves as a focal point for gathering and relaxation. A secondary first-floor addition enlarged the kitchen footprint, creating a more functional layout with an integrated eat-in dining area designed for everyday living and entertaining.

The newly constructed second floor provides a private primary suite complete with a walk-in closet and full bath, along with a centrally located laundry room, dedicated home office, and flexible loft space adaptable to the family’s evolving needs.

In addition to the interior reconfiguration and expansion, the exterior underwent a significant architectural overhaul, transforming the previous rancher into a showpiece in the neighborhood, complete with a welcoming front porch for neighbors and friends to gather.
